Cathedral Cove

Now that i'm back in New Zealand and it's the holidays, I decided to hit the beach! My first stop was Cathedral Cove in the Coromandal Peninsula. The beach gets it's name from the large cathedral-shaped cave on the shore. Around the area it has lots of islands and other cool rock formations.

In the Cathedral.

Also on the beach outside the cave I met a Sand-Bear!

Me and the Sand-Bear.

Canada!

Hello everybody!

I'm back home in NZ now but my last stop overseas was Canada. Canada was really cool but the best thing about it was the snow!
In Whistler I went up both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, these photos are of me at the peak of Whistler mountain!
Also at the top of the mountain I discovered one of the many ancient statues of LEGO minifigures built by primitive caveminifigures!

Thanks for following my adventure around America!

Exploratoring

Hello everybody!

Earlier this week I went to the Exploratorium! This is a interactive museum in San Francisco where you can try out fun science experiments and learn lots of new things!
This is me experimenting with black sand. Black sand is highly magnetic and is attracted to nearby metal objects. The black sand in this picture is covering to metal objects and i'm standing on a bridge of sand between them.
More sand! This time i'm on a spinning disc with sand on it and you could draw cool swirly patterns on it. I got very dizzy here.
This one is of me trying to talk sense into the completely psycho and utterly crazy computer Daisy. Daisy is a computer that is supposed learn off the people she talks to, but if the person before you talks rubbish to her or you reset her memory she is completely bonkers. Even if you spend an hour talking to her she still doesn't make much sense.

Later this week we went to Lucasfilms (The people who made Star Wars) and I got some photos of my with some things they had in their lobby!

Byeeeee!

Legoland!

Yay! Legoland! It's so amazing! I had SOOO much fun at Legoland and all the models are super amazing! I was too short to do almost any of the rides though (I'm 2 inches I swear, it says it on my passport!).

The first model inside was a life size model of the Lego Star Wars X-Wing set!
Lego made of Lego!
There were thousands of models and I couldn't take pictures of all of them! Here's a great one of a Volvo.
My favourite exhibit is the Lego miniland section where the builders make Lego models of famous places in the cities of America (Theirs also a Star Wars miniland). This model is from miniland New York.
The people below the building are not minifigures like me, but are actually built up of different Lego bricks to make every one of them individual!
Also as you can see I found another dragon, it's not as cool as the one in Downtown Disney but is a wee bit bigger.
Thanks for reading my blog!

Disney Land

Hello again everybody!

It's been a while since my last blog but I've been so busy since then. I must of been to every theme park in California! I suppose I should start with Disney Land. I spent three days at Disney Land and it was great!
My favourite ride is California Screamin', the biggest and fastest roller-coaster in the whole of Disney Land! On the final day I saw something almost better than any roller-coaster... A Lego store! There are no Lego stores in New Zealand instead Lego is available at toy stores. One of the best things about this store in particular was the huge Disney themed Lego models around the building!
This is a HUGE model of a dragon breathing green fire at a prince on horseback. The prince and his horse look like giant Lego minifigures except that they and the dragon are made entirely out of Lego bricks! This scene is from one of the Disney princess stories (sleeping beauty maybe?).
Another massive model this time of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine on the magic carpet with the genie. Both Aladdin and Jasmine are made to look like Lego minifigures but are made out of Lego bricks like the prince on his horse outside.

See you next time!

Welcome to L.A.!

Hello everybody!
Sorry I haven't blogged since I got here. I've been very busy lately going to interesting places and recovering from jet-lag! Anyway, two days ago I visited the popular donut chain, Krispy Kremes!
As you can see i've got my shovel here and I literally dug in.

Mmmm... Donuts...
Yesterday I visited Universal Studios I had lots of fun doing all the rides and seeing all the shows. My favorite show was the Water World stunt show and  I really liked the Jurassic Park Ride.
Here's me by the Jurassic Park logo. (Please note the dinosaur above)
Here's me getting eaten by the dinosaur.
I also managed to meet some Minions who starred in both Despicable Me movies.
